HOTEL PERALADA, SPAIN

Hotel Peralada is about an hour and 45 minutes by car outside of Barcelona, in the Catlonia wine region. If Napa Valley were in southern california, only it were really small and with a disproportionate number of Michelin star restaurants, it would be sort of like Peralada.

The hotel is beautiful and the pools (indoor AND outdoor) are simple, yet elegant. Like a backyard pool only bigger and more beautiful:

And this has to be one of our favorite indoor pools ever:

Maybe a little bit of that Heart Castle vibe, only in mini scale?
