MELIA SKY, BARCELONA, SPAIN
Contemporary and innovative, Meliá Barcelona Sky is a pretty big-deal hotel in Barcelona. It’s tall—29 floors and big—258 rooms and is one of the tallest and most symbolic buildings on the Barcelona skyline.
It’s centrally located and an icon of the city of Gaudi. Designed by the famous French architect Dominique Perrault, author of such magnificent works as the Grand Library of France in Paris, its quite impressive.
There is an outdoor rooftop pool, a luxury spa, Michelin star fine dining at the “Dos Cielos” restaurant, and spectacular terraces looking out to sea with panoramic views of Barcelona.
It’s not a pool-centric property, and we weren’t there during swim season, but here are some photos of the rooftop pool:

Hope we have time to visit again and actually go for a swim! Click for more Hotel Pools in Europe.
