HOTEL SWIMMING POOL HERO – COOPER DAVIS

This is my absolute favorite news story of the summer. An 8-year-old kid is swimming laps at his hotel near Disneyland when he sees another kid on the bottom of the pool. He dives down underwater and brings the kid up and to the edge, where his father starts doing CPR and has someone call 9-1-1.

If you ask me, a 3rd grader swimming laps on vacation is moderately heroic anyway. Add the whole saving a life thing and we’re talking high-achieving heroism. Cooper Davis, you rock!
