BEACHSIDE PLUNGE POOLS AT LAS VENTANAS, LOS CABOS, MEXICO

  

Las Ventanas al Paradiso in Los Cabos just announced the opening of new beachside cabanas, featuring  private plunge pools and Jacuzzis.

Each private cabana allows up to four guests to relax in a secluded hideaway and comes with a personal butler offering drinks and refreshments, iPads and iPods, Evian spray and sunscreen. Yes, I did just say “butler.” On the beach.

Special dinners and movies on the beach can be arranged as well. What would you want to see from your private cabana on the powdery sand beach overlooking the Sea of Cortez? Something with local flavor like “El Mariachi” or “Desperado?” I probably wouldn’t recommend “Jaws.”

Each cabana features a lounge deck and seating with flexible shading and shower. Cabanas can be reserved by hotel guests for a full day, a half-day or for the evening. Prices start at $150 for half day during the off season. A movie or dinner is extra but they’ll probably throw in the popcorn.
