2. If you want to swim and a truly historic, or at least, culturally relevant pool, according to PR Newswire,  The Watergate Hotel is opening again after a 125 million dollar renovation. See below for what the indoor pool looks like. Not at all what we were expecting. All recording devices removed, we’re sure!

3. If you haven’t seen these photo fake outs from The Oyster, you should check them out via this piece in The Mirror. We’re constantly on the prowl for hotels that over-promise their pools on their website. A travesty in our book! Here’s one we found a few years back:
