HOTEL POOL COUTURE, MONTE-CARLO, FRANCE

We’ve seen the world of high fashion and upscale design meet the hotel industry—hotel suites by famous fashion designers and all of those Kelly Wearstler designed properties. But we’ve never seen this before: A hotel pool designed by Karl Lagerfeld. It’s in Monte-Carlo—at the Hotel Metropole. The mural is made of 15 glass panels and portrays Ulysses journey.

During the day, the pool is exclusive to hotel guests, but word is you can have breakfast and lunch by the pool, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m, for a very hefty fee.
