2015 SMITH HOTEL AWARDS — BEST POOL

The Smith Hotel Awards for 2015 have been announced and we’re happy to see a best hotel pool category!

Not really a surprise  that the winner is the pool at Amangiri in Utah. We’ve been hankering for a visit for years. But there are also 9 other great pools on the short list.

They’re all boutique hotels in the Mr. and Mrs. Smith family, so we aren’t talking best in the world or anything (which who could pick anyway?). They definitely have some impressive properties and pools on their list, many we’ve never heard about. The Castello di Casole in Tuscany looks particularly beautiful, with shimmering mosaic tiles, an infinity edge and an amazing view:
